[Development] 1st connection: power LED is still ORANGE non-blinking, please help

Hi,

Two days ago I received my brand new La Fonera 2.0 beta. This is my
first La Fonera.

As described in the quick installation guide, I connected my network
cable from the La Fonera's white port (Internet / WAN) to one of my
ISP router's LAN Ethernet port and I followed the other instructions
(until Part 4).

After a night connection nothing happened:
- the power LED is still ORANGE non-blinking
- the USB LED is still GREEN non-blinking (with Firmware 2.2.0 r1 version only)
- MyPlace Wifi connection is OK (available and I can connect to it) but
- FON_FREE_INTERNET SSID IS NOT visible / NOT available
- NO Internet connection through the La Fonera

What's up, Doc?
Can you help me please?

I really don't think it is a DHCP / static IP / PPPOE / PPP problem as
I use my ISP router (Freebox v5 from French ISP free.fr) with DHCP
mode activated.

One more thing: when I try to register without any Internet connection
through the La Fonera, http://registerlafonera.fon.com/ address is
redirected to
http://www.fon.com/main/standaloneLogin?h=&m=xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-25
(error http 404) and my La Fonera 2.0 beta MAC ID is  : xx :xx :xx :xx :xx :24
(something25 in the web address vs. something24 in the MAC address)
Does it matter?

As asked on the irc channel #fonosfera I can't ping my router's
gateway 192.168.0.254 from a SSH connection on La Fonera 2.0 beta.
